Well not exactly.
As most of you know, my son Marc will be getting married next month.
It is a very exciting time for the whole family as we will gather in St Augustine for all the festivities.
As the big day approaches, I felt compelled to throw the famous “bachelor party”.
Just the mention of the word brings visions of decadence and debauchery.
The movie Hangover and it’s subsequent sequels, did a great job of dramatizing just how crazy these events can get.
The sky is really the limit.
Oh the pressure! So what to do?
Plenty of restaurants, bars, night clubs and adult lounges to choose from.
You can just imagine the night we could have. Boats, party buses, limos etc….could make for an unforgettable night?
Certainly South Florida presents great options for the Ultimate party experience.
Still, not at easy as you might think.
Why you ask?
Well this is a classic example of when the hype is greater than the reality; when our real motivation to spend quality time with each other wishing Marc the best in is new adventure, outweighs the social pressure to act out.
So this weekend our gang, another example of a Modern Family, made up of my son Marc 27, my other son Jake 16, my dad who is 79, and Marc’s stepdad Jim and his stepbrother James, will descend on a Ft Lauderdale beach hotel, where we will occupy the Penthouse Suite.
With the sand and surf at our fingertips, booz and cigars in hand, we will celebrate the last month of Marc being single.
Not sure if it will be movie-worthy, time will tell.
Stay tuned, this could still get wild and crazy!
And that’s what Nudelberg says!
